Fully equipped hotel with helpful staff at the front desk during every shift and free Wi-Fi. Magnificent and stunning location to the sea in that area, and only about 20 minutes' walk to Viareggio centre. Fab and great meals.

Comfortable guest room with fresh towels and a balcony. the location is great for exploring around here. It's a nice walk from a restaurant called Il Piccolo Principe, where I had a lovely evening 🌟.

This was a basic, no frills, no amenities hotel. It was clean and functional, but no more. I thought it was not deserving of its three star rating.

Hotel absolutely fine - and suited our needs and expectations.

Two points would be: the top cover on the bed clearly wasn't changed with each new guest which I found very off putting. Secondly, the 'breakfast' was extremely poor - hardly worth getting out of bed for.

The hotel should have had a bether agreement with the owners of the beach. 10 % discount at one of the places is not much, and the service and food at the restarant at the beach was poor.

Our stay at Hotel San Francisco was a delightful experience. The hotel's location was convenient, being just a short distance from the railway station. We enjoyed the stunning views of Viareggio from the rooftop terrace, which provided a perfect spot to relax in the evening. The staff were super friendly and provided helpful recommendations for our sightseeing trips to Pisa and Lucca. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a balcony offering picturesque views of the surrounding mountains. The delicious breakfast, especially the coffee, was a great start to each day. Despite a few small drawbacks like limited breakfast options and a tiny shower cubicle, our overall experience at Hotel San Francisco was exceptional. We highly recommend it for anyone visiting this beautiful area. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Viareggio.

Hotel advertises private beach facility but this has to be paid for separately.

Great place to stay! We walked there from the train station; it's a bit of a hike but easy to find. What a nice, nice hotel! The breakfast was superb. The restaurant the staff recommended for dinner was also wonderful and just a few blocks away. I would definitely stay here again. Good location to the metro also.

I had a wonderful stay at a hotel located right by the beach. The staff provided excellent service and gave me helpful information about the area. The rooms were clean and modern, and I enjoyed the sea view from my window. The hotel's location was perfect for enjoying the beach and exploring the nearby attractions. I highly recommend this hotel for a great vacation experience.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the value for money was incredible. We managed to negotiate a great rate for a room with a small balcony that offered stunning sea views. The location was perfect for enjoying all the attractions in Viareggio, especially the Carnival parade. Plus, being right along the beachfront meant we could easily relax and soak up the sun. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to provide helpful information and recommendations. Basic amenities were provided, and our room was clean and well-maintained. We also enjoyed the breakfast included in our stay, with delicious coffee and juice to start our day.

Everything was just fine, no complaints at all.

Lovely location, friendly staff and lovely reception area.....flat roof location amazing views of Pineta and the Mountains ahead.....very clean both bedroom and ensuite...will recommend to other friends going to Viargeggio.
